Michael A. DuBey
Michael A. DuBey focuses his practice in the areas of civil litigation, criminal law, and family law. He handles cases in the District and Circuit Courts for Montgomery County, Howard County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City.
He is well respected by the Bench after serving as the judicial law clerk to the Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Howard County, the Honorable William V. Tucker. Prior to the that, he worked as an intern for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, Felony Trial division in Baltimore City and as an intern to Judge Tucker. Michael also served as a Student Attorney with the Howard County State’s Attorney Office and as a research assistant in legal history. During law school, Michael was admitted to the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society and was an Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Forum.
Michael is a native of Howard County (River Hill High School). He received his undergraduate degree in history from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. Michael is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and is a member of the Montgomery and Howard County Bar Associations.
Michael and the other attorneys at Mulinazzi Law Office volunteer to take dozens of cases from the Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Service (MVLS) each year in order to help those most vulnerable litigants who could not otherwise protect their rights in court. As a result, the Law Office won Law Office of the Year from the Pro Bono Resource Center in 2019 and Law Office of the Year in 2017 from the Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Service.
